Grunt 2-Packs are coming.

I might give these away to trick or treaters instead of candy!  Look at all those little guys.  These boys aren't ready for frontline duty yet, but once they get done with basic training they'll be wrapped up and ready to ship out.  I'm going to sell them as two to a package for $15.  And they come in any color you want as long as it's green :)

Stat Card Sketches

If you ordered a Vert Tank back when I first started making the Rivet toys then you received a little sketch on the back of the stats card.  I scanned some of them before sending them out and I thought you all might like to see some of them.  Some of these little drawings will surely be used as the starting point for future toys or paintings.  It was really fun to do these.  I really wanted to give each person their own little personal piece of art.

Vert Tank Walker by Adam Pratt

Awesome custom vert walker by Adam Pratt.
Adam Pratt Art

"The Walker Variant of the Vert Tank was first produced by troops in the Tungascar Highlands.  Because of the extremely rocky terrain the Vert Tanks, with their tracks, were not mobile enough to allow the hussars to run patrols of the caves in this mountainous region.  A one Corporel Adoma Pratteun commandeered two reclaimed leg units from a destroyed Blighter Quad Tank and together with his mechanicus unit managed to get a prototype working in less than a week.  The prototype soon proved its value by providing heavy fire support to the mountain patrol units.  Currently there are two dozen or so vert walker variants in use in the region.  There is now talk of re-tooling a vert tank factorie to produce a vert walker from the ground up."  -  Praniscus Palkonik, 23rd regimental historian

New York Comic Con 2011

Wow!  My first New York Comic Con is finished.  It was a great time.

Got to meet George from Toybreak, Matt of Onell Toys, Steve of Sketchbot, and The Sucklord!  Also met up with Darrin, Jared, Connor, Roger, Steve and so many others.  I got my toys signed by Joe Ledbetter and a print signed by Geoff Darrow of Hard Boiled fame!  I met Ben Caldwell and Eric Canete, two artists whose work I really admire.

I was also shocked at how many people were like, "hey, so you're that rivet wars guy!"  It was amazing how supportive people were and encouraging.  I handed out, sold and traded a lot of toys and gave George his XL Rivet shirt :)  So much fun and good will going around.  Lots of people who just love making cool stuff and that's what it's all about.  Such an inspiring weekend.

Making shirts for the show.
